Tiffany Berg, my neighbor in Oregon, has a light that lights up 4000 sq ft of my lower property and my main house. To make my house dark enough to sleep, I had to install curtains in the loft. I bought this 1-bedroom house with a loft and no garage for the view and this light was not disclosed. Scroll down to view pictures and video. Did you know that Southern Oregon is known for star gazing, but not for me.
My outdoor deck is lit up all night every night by Tiffany Berg's light.
Check out these videos of Tiffany Berg's light. Her light is installed over 16+ feet high on her garage, which means it can't be blocked and is about 15 feet from my property line.
Light beams from her light blast out because Tiffany's light is not covered. I offered Tiffany money to make her light a motion and/or cover it and she refused. I offered to drop my legal suit for no money if she would simply cover her light and/or make it a motion light. There is no reason for such a light for the small section of her driveway 15 feet from my land.
My house never gets dark! This picture on the left shows how a light beam streams into my house to light up the ceiling, which lights up the entire house all night, every night, and the loft, which is designed to view the stars. The picture on the right shows that I had to install curtains in my loft so the room would get dark enough to sleep - no star gazing.

What an amazing light! During the day it looks so innocent, but at night, it is brighter than the moon on a clear night Tiffany's light is the lower one and the upper light is a full moon.

The picture on the right shows me standing 30 feet from the property line on my own property. I am lit up. The second picture is the light blasting through the living room. I see this light from every room.
I attempted to block it using a 16 ft pole with blackout material, but the pole wasn't sturdy enough to handle the wind even though it did block some of her light. A large tree can't be used to block the light because that would block my other neighbor's view of the ocean, which a previous owner of my home was sued for. Notice how the tree to the left of Tiffany's garage is chopped. Her light is about a foot higher than where the trees are to be trimmed.

Tiffany Berg told Mark Baker from the Soft Light Foundation that she would turn off her light if I removed my camera, but she did NOT after I removed my camera at a cost of $100. I kept my part of the deal, and she did NOT.
Light Difference: Tiffany claims that the lights on my house are equal to her light. But this is not true. My light is rarely on, faces the main road, not Tiffany's house, and is over 100 feet from her property. Her light faces my property - only 15 feet from the property line. Tiffany is a realtor, yet she doesn't know the difference and/or about lights? ...hmmm!
